Summary

Theseus, king of the Court of Knowledge, faces a desperate situation as the barrier to the Realm of Monsters weakens. To save his people and the Great Library, he must either bargain with another Court or compete in deadly trials to win the hand of a warrior queen. During the trials, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn to a serving maid rather than the queen he's supposed to be pursuing.
