Summary

Ellie, a twelve-year-old girl, has been bullied about her weight since childhood and tries to follow self-imposed Fat Girl Rules to avoid drawing attention. She finds refuge in swimming, where she feels free and weightless, but faces constant criticism from family members and peers about her body. With support from her father, therapist, and a new friend, she begins to challenge the rules she's lived by and learn to accept herself.
